An experienced partner-level recruiter with over a decade of successful placements at major international, national, and regional firms, Adam is the author of The Lateral Lawyer®: Opportunities and Pitfalls for the Law Firm Partner Switching Firms, published by the American Bar Association. His recent placements include partners in litigation, corporate and securities, intellectual property, tax, and regulatory law.
Adam was formerly an associate in the Houston office of Weil, Gotshal & Manges. A veteran dealmaker, his business experience includes three years with McKinsey & Co., Inc., where he advised global players in the fields of energy, transportation, consumer electronics, and the performing arts, and general counsel- and business development roles with such early-stage ventures as SnapNames, Inc. and Earth Class Mail Corp.
Adam speaks Spanish, Italian, French, and Hebrew and is learning Portuguese and Yiddish.

Adam S. Weiss
An inveterate networker and business developer, Cameron has over 20 years of experience in law and business, which he puts to use guiding law firm partners to become superior lateral candidates.
Following a judicial clerkship with the Chief Judge of the U.S. District of Colorado, and 3 years as a Department of Justice Trial Attorney in the U.S. Attorney General’s Honor Program, Cameron was an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Foley & Lardner, where he practiced litigation and intellectual property law.
Cameron’s business experience includes numerous venture- and angel-backed start-up companies, where he built the legal- and business development teams and was instrumental in company-wide recruiting efforts in his capacities as general counsel and head of business development. At the Corporate Executive Board (NYSE: EXBD), a best-practices consultancy, he traveled the world to speak with senior executive teams of Global 2000 companies about leadership and human resources talent acquisition and retention.
A skier and outdoorsman, Cameron resides in Telluride, Colorado, where he skis, hikes, trail-runs, and otherwise enjoys the fresh air.
